A hundred experts from both sides of the Taiwan Straits gathered Saturday in Suzhou, a picturesque town of Jiangsu province (east), to exchange views on building a harmonious society.

These experts, most of whom are university professors and researchers from professional institutes, discussed governance and its relations with the construction of a harmonious society.

Among them figuent known experts in sociological Chinese like Chen Qingyun, director of the Institute of Public Policy at Peking University (Beijing); Gao Hui, president of the Institute of Mainland the Chinese Culture University taïwanaisem and Lu Yucheng, a professor of the Department of Administration and Public Policy at the University of Taipei.
